Nerissa is passionate about facilitating learning and development in adults to empower them to maximize their learning potential to achieve their goals, incorporating instructional strategies that speak to diverse learning styles that connect life and learning.

As an accredited Mediator, Nerissa sees great value in effective communication and creates a safe space to assist parties to move from a place of conflict to creativity, bringing out underlying issues in a respectful manner, empowering them to reach mutually beneficial resolutions. Nerissa has experience working in the private and public sectors, including  the Ontario Courts, the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD) and the School Board.

Nerissa holds: a Masters in Business (MBA), an Advanced certificate in Conflict Management and Mediation, a Certificate in Instructing Adults, a BA in Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy training and is a Career Development Post Graduate Certificate candidate.
